DT Opportunity FAQ’s

It has come to my attention that many of you may have unanswered questions about the Discovery Toys Business Opportunity. For that reason, I have decided to include this new page to my blog. As you send in your questions, I will both, reply to you with the answers, and post them here where everyone can see!  Send your questions to: dawnslearningtoys@gmail.com with the subject title: ” DT Opportunity Questions’.

1.) What is the commission rate for consultants?  Discovery Toys Consultants base commission rate is 20%, however, you have the ability to earn up to 28%+.

2.) How much does the website cost?  Our new consultants get their website FREE for their first 3 months. After that, it is only $10/month. However, if you feel that you do not need your website, you can always cancel it!

3.) Are there any monthly quota’s to reach to remain active? $150 in personal purchases/sales per month to remain active. However, if you have children, then that is EASILY obtainable with birthday’s, holidays, etc.

4.) Can I sign up just for the kit and discounts, but not actively work the business?  Yep! You sure can! However, if you don’t place an order or make a sale of $150 in one month within 6 months, you will no longer be considered an “active consultant”, and if you do not place an order or make a sale of $150 in a month within a year, you will be removed from the consultant program totally.

5.) How much can I really earn with Discovery Toys?  While I would love to be able to give you a $$ figure, your earning potential truely depends on you. The more parties, demos, fundraisers, advertising, etc. that you do, obviously, the more sales you will do. I will say this much, MOST of the Discovery Toys reps in the business today only work an average of 5-10 hours per week, and are making lucritive commission checks!

6.) Do I have to order a bunch of products to resell and keep stock in my home, or can I just place orders that I receive through the web? You never have to hold more inventory than your starter kit provides. However, if you plan to do fairs, expos, etc., then it is adviced that you carry more stock as people at these type of functions prefer to shop and carry more than place orders and wait. Other than that, the only other time you would carry more stock is if you choose to add new products to your party demo’s!
